Christmas donation for the good cause
Corporate Social Responsibility has always held a high priority at Komptech. This shows in our clearly defined sustainability strategy, and in our social commitment to local institutions.
This year we have again chosen to make donations to regional organizations that help people in disadvantaged situations. Christmas, as a celebration of peace and goodwill, is always a good opportunity to show charity and support social institutions. In doing so, we focus on long-term effectiveness. This year we’re proud to help two such local institutions, the SOS Kinderdorf in Stübing and the “Taking Part is Everything” campaign by the Styrian “Volkshilfe” (Helping People) organization. Youth and education are important to us, and we hope to be able to help some young people with our support.
The “Taking Part is Everything” campaign helps kids go on school field trips or class excursions, who otherwise would not have the financial means to do so. The Volkshilfe campaign also helps disadvantaged kids purchase school supplies, so that they can take part fully in class.
The donation to SOS Kinderdorf will go to meeting the daily needs of kids there, providing medical care, and enabling them to attend school and learn a profession. We support here specifically the ‘House Nussbaum’ with a sponsorship. We hope that this contributes to equal opportunity, and it is for this reason we feel a responsibility to support charitable organizations like SOS Kinderdorf and Volkshilfe.
Our heartfelt thanks go out to you, our sales partners and customers, for working with us again this year. Existing partnerships were strengthened, new collaborations were started, and now an eventful year is reaching its end.
